Entrex CEO's Column Reaches More Than Five Million Readers
Chicago, IL February 12, 2007 – Entrex founder, and CEO, Stephen H. Watkins’ syndicated financial column about the fast-growth private companies and capital investors that make up the new Entrex Market has now reached the “over 5,000,000” readership market.
Entrex, the Marketplace Dow Jones suggests as “the market of Blue Chip Private Companies”, provides credibility, exposure and liquidity for these companies and investors. Watkins is a zealot in this equity investment arena. The message in his recently published book, “Capital Can’t Fund What it Can’t Find” received rave reviews from colleagues that are also acutely in tune to the state of the American financial marketplace.
Jonathan Bulkeley, founder of AOL/Europe and former CEO of Barnes & Noble.com says, “Rarely do we have the opportunity to see, and be part of, world-changing innovation. Watkins has brought together the parties and the methodologies which could change the look and feel of the entrepreneurial capital marketplace for years to come.”
CNN dubbed Entrex—short for Entrepreneurial Exchange—“a kind of good housekeeping seal of approval…” in praise of the thorough vetting and validation process that each Entrex Registered Member Company (RMC) must submit to before taking home the title “Entrex Ensured.” From an investor perspective this is an important distinction because this process consolidates the voluminous RMC “who,” “what” and “why” data in a clear consistent manner. Capital investors have up-to-date financial transparency and constant knowledge of the value of their piece of the pie.
Entrex has a solid foundation for its belief in providing an information marketplace for fast growth private and entrepreneurial companies. According to the Private Company Index (PCI) (http://www.privatecompanyindex.com), Index companies averaged a 52+% growth in revenue in calendar year 2006. These are the companies that bring economic and employment growth to our nation and our local communities
