Entrex Process Helps $200M Public Mutual Fund Invest in Over 40 Private Companies

Credibility Process Enables Capital Investments in Private Companies

Chicago, IL Nov. 4-2005 -- Entrex (www.entrex.net), the information marketplace for private companies, announced today that its innovative credibility, exposure and liquidity process will be utilized, for the first time, in an upcoming $200 Million public mutual fund product. The Entrex process will be set in motion this month, providing standardization and transparency for the 40 private companies in which the $200 million will be invested, benefiting companies and investors alike.

?The Entrex process, providing third-party validation and valuation, is critical to the success of the promotion and marketing of this mutual fund. Entrex allows the valuation process to be more precise, ?said Terry Temescu, manager of the Symphony Development Fund (www.lyriccapital.com), which will manage the fund. This fund will be the first of many utilizing the Entrex process, as more will be announced over the next few months.

The Entrex five-step credibility process includes a principal review, corporate review, collection of corporate documents, business validation, as well as a quarterly research & valuation report on each of the companies in the fund. This provides a vehicle to adjust the Net Asset Value quarterly, providing investors an opportunity never before available when investing in private companies.

Through this process Entrex partners including Kroll Worldwide (www.krollworldwide.com ), Leading Independent Research Companies (www.morningstar.com) and others work with the private companies for six to eight weeks, conducting in-depth review of each company, culminating in a Research and Valuation report for each of the fund?s underlying companies. Entrex will house the company information and provide its specialized methodologies and relationships across the global financial community to help companies gain credibility and exposure while providing transparency and consistency to the capital markets.

Entrex was created by serial entrepreneur Stephen H. Watkins. ?The response and interest in the Entrex process and information marketplace over the past few months, both from the investment community and private companies, far exceeds my expectations,? said Watkins. ?The investment community, both the private alternative investment funds and the investment banking IPO issuers, have acknowledged the benefit of Entrex?s standardized and uniformed quarterly reporting methodology which provides investors with access to current information on private companies previously difficult, if not impossible, to find. This has created a whole new ?Asset Category? for the alternative capital market to invest.?

Entrex works with private companies and accredited/institutional investors creating a venue where investors can find, research, track and invest in private companies. Private companies that adhere to the methodologies and disciplines of Entrex gain credibility and exposure to the investor community while gaining liquidity options beyond the traditional route of IPOs, mergers and/or acquisitions. Through its innovative approach and process, Entrex is creating a whole new path to capital for privately-owned businesses.
