Executive Education Quantifies Higher Sales Growth for Companies
CHICAGO, Oct. 2 /PRNewswire/ -- Entrex, Inc. announces that companies which have formalized executive education have higher sales growth than similar companies.
"It is interesting to see how the executive education Entrex provides to the Entrex Companies, via our education partner Gazelles, provides one of the keys to the quantifiably higher revenue results compared to Private Company Index Companies. Entrex believes that executive education should be a key focus for growing companies ... and this quantifiable data proves how valuable it is," said Stephen H. Watkins CEO of Entrex Inc.
"Finally something measurable can show how important continued education is to professional leaders ... that's why we will be at the Gazelles Growth Summit, November 14-15 in Houston, due to a top-flight speaker roster of business thought leadership including both best-selling author Marcus Buckingham and Eureka! Ranch founder Doug Hall. Any companies focused on executive education and controlled, structured growth should be there," said Watkins.
Gazelles -- the premier executive development firm for leaders of mid- sized companies -- has been partnered with Entrex for nearly five years. Entrex CEO Stephen H. Watkins states, "Our focus, along with Gazelles, is helping growth firms understand and maximize their value. We know that incorporating key business disciplines and practices provide increased credibility and confidence to the investor market."
Verne Harnish, founder and CEO of Gazelles, stated in a recent publication, "Education is the only investment that has shown a direct correlation to an increased net worth, and now revenue growth, of a company -- not R&D, not capital expenditure -- but education." He adds, "Fortune's 'most-admired' companies like Dell, GE, FedEx, and Southwest Airlines have significant executive education programs and the resources to keep their executives on the leading-edge of business thinking; this is their key competitive weapon."
When asked why investment in these fast-growth companies is "hot," Watkins says, "According to the PCI or Private Company Index ( http://www.privatecompanyindex.com ), performance in this sector is up 23.5% this year. A comparison index of Entrex registered member companies reflects that they are even outperforming the PCI. Through our process, they've all submitted to prescribed assessment practices and evaluation disciplines. With valuations performed by a third-party industry expert each quarter, they see their company value reflecting even the most subtle changes. Innovative leadership and management tactics are key to changing performance trends. They must all keep learning, what worked today will not work tomorrow, necessarily, they all know that."
