Entrex Highlighted by Global Expert as Alternative to Traditional Capital Markets
Chicago, IL – April 18, 2007 –Vladimir F. Kuznetsov (Director, Equity Financing, FINAM Investment Company) highlighted Entrex, Inc. as one of the only viable competitors to traditional stock exchanges for small to medium sized companies seeking capital and liquidity.
According to Mr. Kuznetsov, whose narrative is based on research findings while preparing a report to present at the Third Annual IPO Congress, “…this is about the so called emerging markets and their needs. While the patriarch-stock markets are making these adaptations in a tad slow pace…we found new instruments that are appealing to emerging markets and [small and medium enterprises]…the United States with its refined stock market experience is the first to my knowledge in introduction of new trading platforms. I would point here to Entrex (www.entrex.net)…”
Entrex CEO, Stephen H. Watkins clarifies their position, “Entrex is not a broker-dealer themselves, nor an investment adviser; simply a neutral marketplace for capital to find, research, track, manage and invest in private and non-reporting companies. As I like to remind people, capital can’t fund what it can’t find…. Entrex offer companies exposure and credibility to the alternative financial community”.
The crux of Mr. Kuznetsov’s argument appears to be that the major global stock exchanges are not seizing the opportunity to more thoroughly integrate private equity investment structures which give appropriate investors access to these small to medium-sized enterprises—a potential new asset class typically offering higher returns than traditional vehicles. He acknowledges junior markets exist in a number of these exchanges, but largely does not seem to be impressed by their impact.
Mr. Kuznetsov suggests that the BRIC countries (Brazil, Russia, India, China) will constitute the fastest growing emerging markets in the 21st century. As he points out; these markets already exceed the US across certain measurement criteria.
Entrex fully intends to take its model overseas to these emerging regions, as most growing countries are looking for a way to tap into this new asset class of securities created by high-performing private companies.
