Watkins Selected to Judging Panel for Fortune Small Buisness Annual Business Plan "Showdown"
Chicago, IL – April 3, 2007 – Stephen H. Watkins, founder and CEO of Entrex, Inc., was invited to participate on the judging panel for the 2007 Fortune Small Business (FSB) annual business plan contest. This is a repeat honor for Watkins, a veteran entrepreneur and expert in the private company-financing sector. His recent book “Capital Can’t Fund What it Can’t Find” is a testament to his experiences as Founder/CEO of six enterprises—and the lessons he learned about the need for innovative and rewarding financing models for deserving companies in the private sector.
His newest company, Entrex, addresses exactly that issue. He’s building an Entrepreneurial Exchange, modeled after the NASDAQ and other traditional public marketplace vehicles, where—according to the company— “…investors can find, research, track, manage and invest in private companies.”
